This scene, painted by acclaimed artist, Don Troiani, of Southbury, Connecticut, depicts Baptist Chaplain, John Gano, offering thanks to Almighty God at the conclusion of America’s War for Independence. The event took place April 19, 1783 in New Windsor, New York. General George Washington, friend of Gano, was in attendance. The 2011 original painting is currently on display at Heartland Baptist College, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Prints available are part of a limited edition of 750 with 50 publisher proofs. All prints are signed and numbered. Each print comes with a historical sketch and a certificate.
